Below is a photograph of my Tokyo Marathon finishing time and my message. It appeared on a Chiyoda LIne train. Tokyo Metro displayed 1000 such messages on a total of 9 trains. One train on each of the Tokyo Metro lines.
I am not sure how many people wrote out messages but 1000 were chosen randomly. My message was somehow seen by one of my colleagues who took a photo and sent it to me. I would not have known about it at all if it had not been seen by someone who knew me. It is a really great memento of the 2013 Tokyo Marathon.
My finish time was 3:58:23. Not my personal best but the first time to run under 4 hours in my 3rd Tokyo Marathon.
